About
unCluttered Communications
unCluttered
Communications is made up of one full-time writer,
plus a network of independent communications and design professionals
that is tapped when needed. As a small company, we don't come with the
hefty price tag of a large advertising agency or PR firm. But our
ability to write on a range of industries (from management consulting
and financial services to high tech and healthcare) does bring you the
depth and breadth of expertise many of those firms offer.
Sandra ("Sam") Clutter, the principal writer/consultant at unCluttered
Communications,
has more than 15 years' experience producing, writing, and editing
collateral materials. Sam can write to a variety of formats,
including articles, direct-mail packages, advertising copy, brochures,
newsletters, website copy, conference summaries, product sheets,
advertorials, white papers, and more. She also has ghostwritten
and contributed to articles that have appeared in a number of
publications, such as World Link, Harvard Management Update,
Harvard Business Review, Optimize magazine,
and Global IT Services Report.
Prior to establishing her own business in 1996, Sam worked at CSC
Index, a management consulting company, as a senior editor and direct
marketing writer. She also was employed at Nolan, Norton & Co.,
another management consulting company, and worked at the Division of
Local Services (a division of the Massachusetts Department of Revenue)
as a newsletter editor, public relations assistant, and speechwriter.
Sam
earned a B.A. at Dickinson College and an M.A. at Georgetown
University. She also attended Leningrad (now St. Petersburg) State
University for a term.
